Tea Time

Ever so most memorable moments...

Teeny teacups boasting tea – turned slurup with the excited adolescent addition of lump after lump after lump after lump after lump of sparkly, sparkly sugar.

Moms and darling daughters all decked out sitting, sipping, and singing together.

Ev’s exasperated and slow motion, ‘oh….my…..goodness’ at the sight of 60 lanterns suspended over our patio turned tea house.

The macaroons. Oh the macaroons…crispy, chewy, chocolate dipped.
Why was this your first frolic in my oven?

Cheek kissed greetings and time to oogle over fancy feather toed shoes, florally fabulous hats, and other tea topics of great import.

Indulging my silly sweet four-year-old first-born performer in her desire to sing,
‘I love you, a Bushel and a Peck’ to her adoring audience.

Little boys in seersucker suits, knee socks, top hats, bowties and pantaloons.

Sneaking around the corner for the secret sight of an elated birthday girl wearing white gloves, her homemade veiled hairpiece and enveloped in froofy frock, bouncing on her bed with a bevy of bouffant buddies….a breathtaking, and almost slow-motion-in-its-beauty maternal moment.
