Congratulations in Colorado

Denver wedding weekend celebration. Gorgeous, gorgeous gourmet food, fabulous and familial friends, a band to die for, a decadent dance floor, sliders, corn dogs, taters and mini chocolate milk shakes at midnight. A final and fitting Congratulations to the newest Mr. and Mrs. Mork.

Mr. & Mrs. in Miami

A flash flight to Miami Beach. A weekend sans littles. The beautiful beach nuptials of Jonathan and Amanda. Cuban food with dear friends. Dinner and rooftop dancing ‘til dawn. Sandy naps on a striped beach chaise. Poolside picnic lunches. Paradise.

In the fall

Cheer cheer cheering for volley-stud-cousins.
A fleeting fairy birthday
And pixie-winged picnic
A mouse with an 'up-do', a scarf and turquoise galoshes (because why should Polly Pocket get to have all the dress up fun?)

Muir Woods

Majestic redwoods, peaceful still, enchanted paths (which became all the more enchanted with fleeting fairies and sneaky gnomes to keep four-year-old hikers engaged) and a nationally acclaimed (Tyler Florence's fave) grilled cheese at the Trading Company Cafe that didn't disappoint.... Saturday morning bliss.

Turkey Day Dancing

Thanksgiving with the Gillrie girls is not merely a day of indulgent eating and gratitude, but a three-day marathon of brining, baking, peeling & prepping an impressive medley of edible family heritage and delicious tradition. Thrilled to join their ranks this fall, we contributed orange rolls, our impressive appetites, and thankful thankful hearts for cherished friends who’ve become family.

Discovering

We LOVE the Children's Discovery museum. How giggly is too giggly on the wheelchair ramp turned raceway?
From Albert Brooks' Defending Your Life...'I'm a gonna make you Nine Pizza Pies.'
The faces of artiste

Discovering

Love the wet and wild water games.
But obviously spend most of our time.....
With a pallet to paint faces and take...
The museum to the place Where The Wild Things Are.

A Feast of Friendship

To prepare for Turkey Day Dancing, a Feast of Friendship was arranged. Logan took on the turkey, with each family contributing their signature sides.

Feast of Friendship

Thankful for – pastry chef Em’s feathered frosting cupcakes adored by little girls, McDonald family Corn Pudding, Field family bacon wrapped dates with gorgonzola, Hutchings family stuffing, Darger family orange rolls, Haymore family pecan pie, Lex’s European chocolates, official (and unofficial taste testers), and a Palo Alto patio by candlelight in November.
